Bluelab pH Probe

Regularly monitoring pH is vital for healthy plants especially as levels fluctuate naturally. Most plants thrive in slightly acidic water - but if rates fall too low you may find your plants stunted yellowing and unable to take in nutrients.

This pH probe works with a range of Bluelab products to keep your entire hydroponic system in optimal conditions. 

Compatible with Bluelab 

Like other products in the Bluelab range the probe has a BNC connector for easy and universal pairing. It may be used as a replacement - or just a handy spare - for equipment like the Bluelab Guardian Monitor Combo Meter and pH Controller. 

The probe has a 2-metre mains cable for easy reach reducing trip hazards and allowing it to be used anywhere within your greenhouse grow space or hydroponic setup. 

Fully waterproof

It’s no surprise that reservoirs can get wet! The appliance is safe to submerge in water and measures acidity levels in hydroponic solutions with no risk. 

This also makes it easy to clean; simply wipe down with a damp cloth as needed. 

Long-lasting design

Bluelab has chosen a double-junction probe for increased longevity. This means that it has two chambers each with a wire inside: this second wire makes direct contact with the solution being measured. 

The second chamber contains an additional salt bridge which helps to prevent reactions between the electrode fill solution and the solution being measured. Over time this causes contamination as chemical reactions build up on the wire. 

When used with care and according to instructions the Bluelab pH probe will last for approximately 12 months. 

How to care for Bluelab pH Probe?

Prolong the life of your pH probe by keeping it wet at all times when in use. Put the storage cap over the top of the probe when not in use and regularly top up the amount of potassium chloride (KCl) solution inside the cap.
